Stillwaters Environmental Center engages families & communities in advancing the health of Puget Sound watersheds. This happens through education, preservation, and restoration.
Stillwaters is an environmental education center in the Carpenter Creek watershed of Kingston, Washington, on the Kitsap Peninsula. The nine acres of wetlands ecosystem is valued for environmental, aesthetic and educational benefits.
We educate adults and children, mobilize citizens to steward and care for the natural world and make accessible the wetlands and watershed areas to the public.
We believe that it is our responsibility to be leaders of conservation and sustainability education. In order to do this, children and adults must be provided with hands-on experiences.
We value and foster diverse perspectives and partnerships, and a passion for the natural world. We see this in our talented staff and dedicated volunteers.
Consider sharing your gifts with Stillwaters. We are always open to new members and volunteers. And, of course, contributions are appreciated!
